Privacy Policy

Account information (such as your name and email), the passages and questions you interact with in order to run the Service, and standard technical data (device/browser information, usage logs) needed to operate and improve Biblemetric.

To provide and improve the Service, respond to support requests, and communicate important account or billing information. We don't sell your personal data.

Running Biblemetric requires sending limited data to a small number of service providers: OpenAI (to power AI responses and content moderation), Supabase (to store and retrieve commentary used to ground AI answers), the YouVersion Platform (to retrieve Scripture text), and Vercel (to host the application). Each processes data only as needed to provide their respective service to us.

Biblemetric uses your browser's local storage to remember preferences (such as display settings and reading progress) on your own device. This data stays in your browser and is not sent to our servers unless it's otherwise part of normal app functionality.

We retain account and usage data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy law.

Biblemetric is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
